• Experience of designing boards upto 500 MHz
• Working knowledge of digital logic boards is required.
Experience of analog designs would be preferable.
• Design experience of Telecommunication and Data
networking technologies
• Capable of performing timing analysis of various
signals and system.
• Analyze the product requirements and bring out the
complete hardware architecture
• Selection of the various chips for the design
• Good knowledge of bus architecture like PCI, cPCI,
PCIExpress, Rapid IO etc
• Working knowledge of CAD tools - ORCAD, CADstar
etc.
• Working knowledge of board level power analysis
• Take independent decisions of the hardware architecture
• Working knowledge of FPGA and glue logic implementation
• Sound knowledge of PCB routing. Should be able to
review the routing.
• Knowledge of MATLAB is preferable
• A basic knowledge of programming in C is preferable.
• Bring out the chip level / board level diagnostics
requirement of the board
• Capable to managing a team of at least 6 to 7 engineers,
including the FPGA team. Should be a team motivator
• Should be a quick learner and should have good skills
to analyze.
• Working knowledge of CVS, bug-tracking tools is
preferable.
• Working knowledge of dual CPU boards is preferable
• Knowledge of EMI / EMC
• Working knowledge of Interface bus designs
• DSP knowledge is preferable |
